Who We Are
Millstone Wildlife Center (MWC) is a home-based wildlife rehabilitation facility for injured and orphaned mammals located in Windham, NH. The center is run by Executive Director, Frannie Greenberg. Frannie is licensed by both NH Fish and Game as a rehabilitator and the USDA as a permitted facility to house program animals. Frannie’s background in Animal Science and Museum Education has helped to foster this organization. Her husband Michael with a masters in Animal Science, provides the necessary combination to keep MWC going and growing.
All of the MWC team is a dedicated volunteer staff. More than 25 individuals with varying backgrounds like nurses, veterinarians, and those who just have an interest in supporting the mission. The growing internship program provides extra help during the “baby season” and valuable experience to college students and recent graduates who want to pursue a career working with animals.
As a 501(c)3 organization, MWC is not funded by the town, state, or federal government. All donated dollars come from businesses or individuals who believe in our mission. 100% of donations go directly to animal care including medication, specialized diets, housing, and general care.
